|Individual Placement Description|
|Main Duties of Placement||
Teaching senior medical students on placement in Inverness. Developing teaching and assessment resources e.g. podcast development, question-writing. Assisting with assessment processes e.g. invigilation, OSCE logistics.
|Typical Work Pattern||
9am-5pm Monday to Friday. No OOH but there is a need to be flexible for any early morning teaching and evening tutorials. No clinical contact scheduled.
Opportunities to engage in all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment.
1 day per month FY2 teaching. This takes the form of curriculum-based teaching followed by facilitated small group case-based discussions.

Able to thoroughly engage in teaching activities, rather than trying to squeeze them in around your clinical commitments. This includes time to read up on the theory and research relating to medical education.
