NHS Education for Scotland
(NES) is a Special Health Board which designs, commissions, quality
assures and where appropriate provides education for NHSScotland
staff.
The Medical
Directorate of NES is responsible for the commissioning and
delivery of postgraduate medical education. Its four Scottish
postgraduate deaneries are an integral part have operational
responsibility for overseeing and managing specialty training
programmes. They do this with services in their geographic area as
well as with trainers, specialty advisers and training programme
directors.
The interactive map illustrates the different regions within
Scotland as well as the locations of key cities and towns within
