| Main duties of placement: | Ward rounds (both independent and with senior members of the team). The F1 covers their own ward base with support provided from senior team members. |
| Typical work pattern: | Monday to Friday 9am-5pm plus Hospital at Night duties. |
| Learning opportunities: | Departmental meeting Monday lunchtimes. X-ray meeting Tuesday lunchtimes. Hospital Grand Round Wednesday lunchtimes. Morbidity Review Meeting - Last Thursday of each month (13:15 – 14:00) Weekly Tuesday Lunchtime Teaching Seminar (13:15 – 14:00) |
| Teaching: | Hospital F1 teaching programme 1 hour per week (Tuesday). |
