| Main Duties of Placement | 8.30am safety huddle every day. 9am ward round every day. Consultant ward round on Monday and Friday. Spoken full round with whole MDT on Wednesday. |
| Typical Work Pattern | 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday working, on average 18 long shifts, 8 night shifts and 4.5 weekends in a 17 week rotation. Out of hours commitment to surgery and renal medicine. |
| Learning Opportunities | Radiology and case presentation on Friday morning (8am-10am). Journal club Monday lunchtime every week hosted by the junior twice in the block. North of Scotland joint meeting Thursday 1.30pm to 3.30pm. |
