The East is a region of the Scottish Foundation School offering a wide variety of training opportunities including inner city opportunities and posts in Dundee, Perth, Angus and Perthshire.
If allocated to a Foundation Programme in the East, you will be allocated to a one-year fixed programme:
- Partway through F1 you will be given a list of post options in your matched programme for F2 to rank in order of preference
- Your Foundation Programme Director (FPD) will allocate you to a post programme rotation for your F2 training year
- There is no swaps process operated in Scotland
