Main duties of placement:
  • Daily ward round.
  • Clerk in elective/emergency admission.
  • Cannulations/phlebotomies.
  • Referrals.
  • EDDs.
  • Sign blood sheets.
  • Update ward list.
  • Request phlebotomies for next day (most patients require daily blood checks and valid G+S sample).
