| Main Duties of Placement
|
- Medical reviews of outpatients at Centre for Child Health & Young Person's Unit.
- Routine follow-up appointments of specific patients, largely medication based.
- CHOICE appointments (initial psychiatric assessment appointments for all new referrals).

| Typical Work Pattern
|
- Normally full day shifts at Dudhope House/Young Person's Unit.
- Regular on-call shifts based at Carseview Centre.
|
| Learning Opportunities
|
- Team meetsing at Centre for Child Health.
- Sit in on clinics with consultants.
|
| Teaching
|
- FY1 teaching - 3 hours/month.
- Regular meetings with supervisor with aim of discussing individual cases.
