Main duties of placement: | Ward rounds, admission of unselected emergency admissions to GIM, planning discharges, participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings. |

Learning opportunities: | Ward-based meetings – weekly X-Ray meeting; weekly PG educational meeting; weekly hospital Grand Round; fortnightly journal club. Quality improvement meetings. |
Teaching: | As above plus deanery organised teaching. |
