Main duties of placement: | Ward based – ward rounds and ward duties |
Typical work pattern: | Full shift usually 09:00 – 17:00 Currently no weekend work |
Learning opportunities: | Oncology (fortnightly) and M&M Meetings (monthly), monthly evening Medical Updates via VC with RCPE, weekly Hospital Educational meetings. Morning handover where all new patients are discussed. |
Teaching: | 1 hour Peer teaching every Tuesday, 1 hour |
Unique selling points: | Work in a small close knit friendly team with direct Consultant supervision. Particularly wide range of conditions encountered, and very good general experience. |
