Main duties of placement: | The work involves managing high-risk vascular patients who have multiple co-morbidities and there is excellent (supervised) exposure to critical care on the High Dependency Unit. Covering General Surgery when on-call ensures good exposure to common surgical conditions. |
Typical work pattern: | The FY2 job covers Vascular Surgery during working hours and both Vascular and General Surgery on-call (full shift rota). |
