  • Ward rounds.
  • Ward duties.
  • On-call admitting GP referrals.
  • Assessing deteriorating patients.
Typical work pattern:
  • 8.00 - 4.00.
  • One week of nights in 4 months.
  • 2/3 weeks on-call.
Learning opportunities:
  • Teaching on ward rounds.
  • MDT meetings.
  • Morbidity & mortality meetings.
  • Journal club.
Teaching:

FY1 teaching once per week.
