Main duties of placement:
  • Responsible for the day to day care of O&G inpatients.
  • Participation at outpatient clinics.
  • Assisting in theatre.
  • On call for O&G receiving.
Typical work pattern:
  • Full shift.
  • 1 in 5 weekends on call.
  • Floating week.
  • Overnight cross cover of paediatric services shared with paediatric trainees.

Bleep free weekly FY2 teaching (Thursday lunchtime) and opportunity to attend general teaching on a Friday morning.
