  • Obstetric and Gynaecology Emergencies.
  • Obstetric and Gynaecology Elective.
  • Antenatal Care.
  • OP, Theatres, IP work for tertiary referral services.
Typical work pattern:

Full shift.

Learning opportunities:
  • Ward round.
  • Dedicated teaching session.
  • Lots of supervised “hands on”.
Teaching:
  • Mandatory FY2 Teaching.
  • Departmental teaching for first on-call grade – 1 hour per week.
  • Postgraduate teaching weekly (up to 2 hours).
