Main duties of placement:

Care of women antenatally, postnatally and intrapartum with both inpatient and outpatient activity.

Management and care of emergency and elective gynaecology patients.

Attendance at gynaecology outpatient clinics.

Typical work pattern:

Full shift with night duties for obstetrics.

Hospital at night team for ward-based gynaecology problems after 11pm.
