Main duties of placement: | Care of patients on general medical wards. Day-to-day ongoing care and provision of emergency service. |
Typical work pattern: | Full shift and participation in on-call rota. Includes receiving unit cover. |
Learning opportunities: | Continuous learning from medical professionals - nursing and medical. Weekly X-ray meetings and weekly medical meeting. Evening Medical Update (monthly). |
Teaching: | Tuesday lunchtime radiology meetings. Friday lunchtime divisional meetings with presentation of cases. |
