Main duties of placement:

Covering General Liaison ward referrals and supporting Liaison Nurses with ED presentations.

Typical work pattern:

9-5pm Monday to Friday.

Learning opportunities:

Wide range of presentations from perinatal, neuro-psychiatric, Alcohol Liaison, acutely suicidal, cognitive testing to psychotropic prescribing in co-morbid medical conditions.

Teaching:

CME and Postgraduate Psych Teaching as well as Internal Liaison teaching sessions.
