|Main Duties of Placement||
Theatre learning peri-operative care and airway management.
ICU ward rounds.
Surgical HDU managing post-operative pain and fluid balance.
|Typical Work Pattern||
Band 1b full shift rota. On-call is for General Medicine.
Ward and in theatre.
Weekly departmental meetings.
Protected Tuesday lunctime and Thursday lunchtime.
Wednesday lunchtime Hospital Grand Round.
Monthly academic half day.
