| Typical work pattern: | Two months spent in speciality ward the other two months in the Acute Medical Unit. Approximately seven nights spent on H@N cover. Full shifts until 10pm and weekend daytime cover. |

| Teaching: | Mandatory FY1 teaching programme covering the foundation programme syllabus. There are hospital postgraduate meetings at least monthly. |
| Unique selling points: | Close and supportive working with Consultant staff. Excellent nursing and paramedical support. Smaller medical unit in close proximity to Glasgow. |
