| Unique selling points: | This new post is a unique opportunity to learn about chronic disease management across the divide of primary and secondary care. The trainee will spend half their time in a tertiary referral diabetes centre where they will gain knowledge and experience in diabetes complications/new diabetes therapies/type 1 diabetes/insulin pump treatment/diabetic foot ulceration treatment. Great opportunities to perform clinical research. Other side of post will be spent seeing patients with primary care team seeing management of type 2 diabetes in the community. |
