Main duties of placement:

In four months, two months pure COTE in addition to medical on-call.
Typical work pattern:

In four months, two weeks of nights (seven nights in a row) medicine on-call, two weeks 4pm-11pm ward cover, two weeks 2pm-11pm medicine on-call.
Learning opportunities:
  • MDT.
  • Monday radiology.
  • Wednesday journal club.
  • Friday Grand Rounds.
Teaching:

2 full days mandatory teaching (regional).
