Main Duties of Placement
|
- Ward rounds in the short stay ward.
- Jobs and discharges for the ward patients.
- Seeing patients with minor injuries.
- Assisting with more unwell patients.
|
Typical Work Pattern
|
- Variety of day, late and night shifts.
- 10-12 hour shift lengths.
- On average, work one in two weekends.
|
Learning Opportunities
|
- Very well supervised post so you will learn a lot as you go along.
|
Teaching
|
- A&E junior teaching every Thursday.
- Also you will get to go to hospital FY1 teaching.
