| Main Duties of Placement | Daily ward rounds led by ST1/FY2. Twice weekly consultant ward rounds. General ward work. |
| Typical Work Pattern | Full shifts, mostly 9am-5pm with one long shift until 9pm each week. Normally two weeks of nights and two weekends on call per 4 month block. |
| Learning Opportunities | Ward-based teaching from registrars; weekly oncology educational meeting. MDTs are on every week which FYs are encouraged to attend for education. |
