| Main Duties of Placement | Ward based – ward rounds and ward duties. |
| Typical Work Pattern | Full shift. You may cross cover Medical patients after 17:00 on a Long day and cover A&E/wards |
| Learning Opportunities | Morning handover where all new patients are discussed. |
| Teaching | 1 hour Peer teaching every Tuesday, 1 hour |
| Unique Selling Points | Work in a small team with readily accessible Consultants. Absence of middle grades gives more opportunity for practical procedures. Also the option of getting into theatre/endoscopy if time allows. |
