Main Duties of Placement | Teaching senior medical students on placement in Inverness. Developing teaching and assessment resources e.g. podcast development, question-writing. Assisting with assessment processes e.g. invigilation, OSCE logistics. |
Typical Work Pattern | 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. No OOH but there is a need to be flexible for any early morning teaching and evening tutorials. No clinical contact scheduled. |
Learning Opportunities | Opportunities to engage in all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment. |
Teaching | 1 day per month FY2 teaching. This takes the form of curriculum-based teaching followed by facilitated small group case-based discussions. |
