| Main Duties of Placement | Clerking of elective admissions and perioperative care. Opportunities exist to attend several clinics and theatre sessions. |
| Typical Work Pattern | The on-call rota is approved as compliant and is 1 in 9 at present with an afternoon off following a night resident on-call. |
| Learning Opportunities | ARI – Daily trauma meeting and presentation of cases. Weekly trauma X ray meeting. Ward-based teaching on daily basis. Bimonthly morbidity/mortality and audit meetings. |
