| Main Duties of Placement | General medical care of patients on the Acute Receiving Unit or General Medical ward including ward rounds and reviewing new admissions. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team in these areas. |
| Typical Work Pattern | Shift pattern varies between 9am-5pm, 8am-8.30pm, 9am-9.30pm and 4pm-9.30pm. |
| Learning Opportunities | As well as weekly F1 teaching there are weekly departmental meetings attended by the whole unit as well as plenty opportunities for 'on the job' learning and clinical audit. |
