| Main Duties of Placement | Gynae Ward: Pre- and post-op patients, emergency admissions. Labour Ward: Assisting with C-sections/forceps. Antenatal/Postnatal: Mainly discharge scripts. Day Bed/Early Pregnancy Unit: Reviewing preg probs (miscarriage, ectopic, pre-eclampsia etc.) Assistant in Gynae Theatre. OPD clinics. |

| Learning Opportunities | Regular opportunities for ward-based teaching with registrars. Departmental Meeting one lunchtime/week. Daily labour ward meetings to review previous day's deliveries. |
