| Main Duties of Placement | 4-month rotation where you will be based between a general medical ward and the acute receiving unit, with time spent in the Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) You will be acutely assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated diagnoses and those from all the different medical subspecialties including cardiology, respiratory, diabetes & endocrinology, gastroenterology and stroke Duties will include participation in ward rounds, organising relevant investigations, making appropriate referrals and communicating with GPs and relatives You will be part of the multidisciplinary teamYou will be part of the cardiac arrest team when on-call |
