Unique Selling Points | Arran is a beautiful island, with spectacular mountains, beaches and opportunities for hiking, biking and exploring. There are great gym and swimming pools and a vibrant social scene. The post has high quality free accommodation in a small ex–Hotel in Brodick. Arran offers all the benefits of island life – there is very little crime and a great sense of community, yet it is highly accessible. Travel by ferry takes 50-80 mins, with Glasgow under an hour away from the port. Passenger fares are good value and there is support for travel costs with 3 return car ferry journeys reimbursed. This post can support 2 hours per week self-development time - a flexible approach can be taken to combine these hours to e.g to allow flexible travel back and forward from Arran and to link with other training opportunities that may require mainland travel/stays. There is dedicated tutorial time with the supervising GP each week. |
