| Main Duties of Placement | Attendance at OPD clinics. Attendance at one theatre session as training progresses. Fundus Fluroscien Clinic. Friday morning at NVH (consent and giving iv fluroscein). |

| Learning Opportunities | OPD-based Ophthalmology learning (slit lamp fundus examination). Minor periocular surgery in clinics. |
| Teaching | Attendance at Regional Ophthalmology teaching at GGH each Wednesday afternoon in term time. Attendance at Ophthalmology-specific clinical tutorial Tuesday morning 8.30am-9.30am. First two weeks supernumerary with one-on-one clinical teaching progressing to seeing and working up OPD patients under supervision. |
