Main Duties of Placement | FY2 post at Woodland View Ward 5, 10-bedded Addictions Psychiatry Inpatient Unit, with supervision provided by Consultant Psychiatrists. Ward tasks specific to Ward 5 include:-

Typical Work Pattern | Participation in the junior doctor rota currently 1 in 18 nights, long days and 1-9pm back shifts, with and 1 in 9 weekends. These are done at the base hospital of Woodland View in Irvine and covers all psychiatric specialities. The 9-5 element of the post has a significant community component and is based at the nearby Caley Court resource centre in Stevenston. A car is essential given the community component. |
