Premises are purpose built in 2002, Registrars provided with their own consulting room and shared use of Library.  The Practice embraces new technology, using Vision clinical system and webcam technology for video consultations.  The Practice has always achieved maximum QOF points and participates fully in all local and national enhanced services offered.  The Practice believes strongly in staff training and development and has an excellent, admin and nursing team as a result.  Our dedicated Practice Nursing team offer nurse telephone consultations and nurse practitioner clinics.  Visit our website www.medicayr.com.

Educational opportunities

We are an experienced training Practice of more than 30 years in an area with a well established day release scheme, actively involved in 3rd-5th year undergraduate training, FY2 training as well as the ST program with experience of successful remedial training.   All partners are committed to education and carry out in-house 360 degree appraisal and peer review of partners' and nurses video consultations. Monthly journal club.  The Surgery has an active Practice Based Small Group Learning meeting every 2 months
