We are a small and long established Practice within the village of Lennoxtown. The Practice is only a 30 minute drive from Glasgow City Centre but the village is nestled at the foot of the Campsie Hills and feels worlds away from the busy city. The views are amazing and the chances of being stuck behind a tractor during your commute are much higher than being stuck in rush hour traffic.

We are located within a new, modern, purpose built facility which opened in 2016 and brings together Health Board services (health visitors, physiotherapy, community nurses, etc.) and East Dunbartonshire Council services (library, registrars, etc.) under one roof.

We serve Lennoxtown and a few surrounding villages and have a list size of 3400 patients.

We have a Physician Associate, Practice Nurse and Health Care Support Worker who are employed directly by the Practice. We have associated staff who work with us via the Primary Care Improvement Plan and include an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Physio Practitioner and Pharmacist.  We also have direct access to a community links worker and a chaplaincy service.

GPSTs can expect a wide variety of experience here. As we are a semi-rural Practice we have a mix of patient demographics. We have a high rate of chronic disease and multi-morbidity and there is plenty of opportunity to gain experience in managing these conditions. We are a small practice which enables trainees to get to know the patients and staff well and be involved in all aspects of practice life. As a new training practice we are enthusiastic and provide a fun and supportive environment to learn and work.
