Fallin, Cowie & Airth Medical Practice covers 3 villages to the East of Stirling and the intervening rural areas between the River Forth and the M9 motorway

 

We are a medium-sized practice with 6378 patients. The demographic is relatively deprived, ex-mining villages, with a few pockets of affluence. We benefit from being close to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert, and to services based in Stirling MIU and Falkirk Community Hospital.

 

We are five GP partners:

We have three different premises, based in each of the three villages, and an experienced and loyal team of administrative staff who cover each of these centres. We have an experienced and approachable Practice Manager, Loraine McLachlan. We work closely with our Health Visitors and the District Nurse team, who are based in Bannockburn but do clinics in the practice each morning.

We are also fortunate enough to have a good cohort of PCIP staff to assist with our workload – Elise and Tom, our Primary Care Mental Health Nurses, Victoria and Ross our Advanced Physios, Katrina our Pharmacist and regular weekly phlebotomy sessions.
