Educational Opportunities

• Registrars take part in the Forth Valley half-day release teaching on Friday afternoons.
• There is additionally a weekly 4 hour protected teaching session within the practice.
• All partners take part in the educational process.
• Registrars are encouraged to attend regional courses for minor surgery, child health surveillance and computer training.
• Remaining study leave can be used to attend specialist clinics agreed between the Registrar and hospital staff.
• There is ample opportunity for informal discussions about cases during morning coffee break when all partners and the practice nurses often meet.
