Previous registrars have enjoyed their training with us. Dr Lee is one of our previous registrars and is now our GP partner. Dr Ahmed wrote about his experience with us:
"Working in The New Surgery in Kilmacolm as a GPST has provided me with a rich training experience that covers key aspects of GP training.
Don't let the relatively rural location put you off - the motorway is close by, and the scenic home visits are breath-taking and exciting! There are also great little cafes and shops around the surgery and blissful walks to take on your lunch break!
I could go on and on about the fresh countryside air that surrounds this charming village; the wide variety of pathologies I've come across and the charismatic patients with fascinating backgrounds; the learning opportunities through tutorials, video feedback and sitting with DN's, physios, ANP's and practice nurses...
But, in the end, what really sets The New Surgery apart is the extremely supportive GP's who make sure you are looked after and get the most out of training (and leave work on time!), as well as the rest of the practice team who are warm, welcoming and approachable."
