Interesting features of the practice

The practice operates from a modern purpose-built building which was opened in 2008. The practice area includes Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, Milton of Campsie and Torrance as well as some surrounding farms. The practice has a well-established chaplaincy project that has been running for many years as well as close links with local volunteer organisations. The practice has a number of patients in two local nursing homes. The practice list has been steadily growing over the last decade.

Educational Opportunities

The practice is committed to training with all doctors being involved in tutorials and supervision of registrars. We are involved in medical student teaching with Glasgow University – years one and two.

Advantages / opportunities of working in the practice

There is a dedicated trainee consulting room, also allowing use for private study. Good computer access throughout the building including a library and a conference room. Trainee day release meetings are held within the practice for our locality.
