Number of partners and outside interests:

The practice has two partners both of whom are very enthusiastic about training. Dr Raja teaches medical students. Dr Day has an interest in Paediatrics and Gynaecology.

We have an interest in providing chronic disease management anticipatory care and health promotion 

Any interesting features of the practice:

Our practice is situated in a large health centre where approximately 25,000 patients are registered. We share the Health Centre with several other practices along with extensive support services including a paediatric developmental assessment centre, treatment rooms, physiotherapy and a pharmacy. The health centre is close to local amenities and Glasgow Green as well as being near the City Centre and Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Educational opportunities:

We provide an interesting, challenging and supportive educational environment in which to learn and experience General Practice. There is the opportunity for our GPSTs to be involved in all aspects of patient care and the running of the practice. We are able to give all our doctors in training their own consulting room. Over the years our doctors in training have made a lasting contribution to the practice and the welfare of patients in Bridgeton.
