Inner city group practice of 7 partners with list size of 6000 patients.  Mainly deprived area with some patients in more affluent Bearsden and Bishopbriggs providing an opportunity to see a wide range of age groups, social groups and illnesses. The practice is involved with mentoring practice nurses, clinical CHCP initiatives and has regular practice based educational half days.

One partner is Medical Director of Hampden sports medical centre with special interest in musculoskeletal medicine and is also an accreditated CPR trainer. Another partner is an appraiser and one of the trainers is a Training Programme Director for GP training.  Both practice nurses are nurse prescribers.

The practice provides a happy and supportive atmosphere in which a trainee can progress and trainees are encouraged to stretch themselves academically both within their training attachment and once training is completed.
